A lot of companies are inspired by Cradle to Cradle but not everyone are commited to change their actual business. US carpet manufacturer Shaw is a true pioneer, here showing their recycling system of Nylon-6 - the key ingredient in their carpets. Recycling 100 million pounds of post-consumer carpet waste per year is a significant industrial material cycle. The point here is that their choice of materials and recovery system brings them back recycled raw material (nylon-thread for new carpets) with same performance and aestetic qualities as virgin material. Waste = food.
